Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter, when she was a character on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex in its final three seasons. Her initial releases as a country singer were featured on episodes of the series, helping her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to in the Top Ten. She finished out the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside a series of non-album singles. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices came out. Born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised with country music and would eventually make a record career, but she made her debut as an actor, making her screen debut in the indie horror film Dead/Undead as she was teenagers. Over the years, Kramer was a regular on several shows including All My Children as well as CSI: NY. In 2007, she was selected in the recurring role of Noelle Davenport for NBC's Friday Night Lights. Kramer was Portia in 90210's 2008-2009 season and Brooke in Entourage the year 2009. Then in 2009 she was Alex Dupre on CW One Tree Hill. Kramer was a part of the cast until the halfway point of the last season in 2012 Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. Her contract was signed with Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I Will Not Go Down" on the show's episode. It was later featured in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. This track appeared on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart within the Top Five. In order to appeal her huge fan base Kramer continued to act in films such Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. I Got the Boy - the album's Top Five country single - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer in a duet helped this album to achieve greater success. Beginning in September 2016 her two-month stay on the 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. That same year, the album Feels like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser became an instant hit with adults contemporary.
